Ari M. Teplitz, CFP®, ChFC®

Ari joined the firm in July of 2014 on the heels of a successful career as a life insurance agent and registered representative for New York Life in the Southern Connecticut General Office. While at New York Life, Ari won many awards including Rookie of the Year and the Catherine Elliott Award of High Standards for goodwill, honesty, and integrity. Ari brings a strong background in customer service to the firm and is the primary liasion between the firm and the technology that the firm uses to communicate with its clients.

Like his father, Ari's path to the financial planning industry was unorthodox. Prior to entering the industry, Ari graduated with a degree from the Yale School of Drama in Theater Management and spent eight years as a non-profit fundraiser and theatre producer. He entered the firm passionate about empowering Gen X and Millenial clients with the tools they need to be their own best financial advocates and help them create their own paths to financial freedom.

When he is not with his clients, Ari can usually be found working on one of the many causes that he cares about. Ari is a passionate advocate for arts education and serves as a Trustee for the Theatre Development Fund in New York.  He loves to cook, play tennis and spend time with those he loves most... his wife, Cantor Michelle Teplitz, their children, Amalya and Elijah, and their family dog, Rosy.
